In front of the Tunisian Minister of the Interior, deputies call to reveal the truth about the “dark room” and “the secret terrorist network of Ennahdha,” potentially, even their plans for assassination.
Several other deputies denounced the fog that hangs over the “dark room” affair, expressing the need for a serious and thorough investigation.
Nidaa Tounes MP Fatma Mseddi also stressed the need to reveal the truth about the secret organization, according to her responsible for the murders of Belaid and Brahmi.
“Unveiling the truth about the secret network has become a priority. This apparatus, which is behind the assassinations of Belaid and Brahmi, and the assassination plan targeting Béji Caid Essebsi and François Hollande, will put Tunisia in a conflictual position with certain countries,” Fatma Mseddi said.
She then called for the activation of the National Security Council in the presence of the Ministry of the Interior, as well as the establishment of a commission of inquiry that would involve the various relevant ministries (Defense and Interior).
“The infiltration of the security apparatus and the abuses committed in this area have become an unhealthy state,” she said.
In this connection, she pointed to suspicions hanging over the head of the intelligence branch and stressed the need to take this issue seriously.
The deputy of the “Al-Horra” bloc of the Mouvement machrou Tounes for his part felt that “the speech on the independence of the Ministry of the Interior should not remain a hollow slogan, and that we must join the action to the speech”
“The twists of this business have gone beyond all bounds
Was Ennahdha involved in planning assassination?
Yesterday, Ridha Raddaoui, a member of the martyrs defense group, Chokri Belaïd and Mohamed Brahmi, revealed an important piece to the puzzle. They said that on Nov. 21, after the committee met with President Béji Caid Essebsi , the examining magistrate heard of an officer who seized the documents in the darkroom of the Ministry of Interior. The latter, he claimed, revealed the existence of a plan from 2013 for the assassination of Beji Caid Essebsi and the ex -French President François Hollande.
The document was later stolen, he added. He further noted that the new data contained in the case file confirmed the theft of the document destruction device. This device would have been seized before disappearing, he noted. He said that the device was under the responsibility of the so-called Abdelaziz Daghzeni (husband of Rached Ghannouchi’s niece). The latter has not yet been heard in the context of this case, on the contrary his identity has been hidden, said Raddaoui. The Ennahdha movement also declared they were “very surprised” by these accusations.
“These accusations are untrue and unfounded. They aim to undermine the party, “said Ennahdha in a statement made public. “The allegations of the Presidency of the Republic are contrary to the principle of impartiality of the institution and its constitutional role,” noted Ennahdha in the same statement
