Nigeria: What a world as hoodlums shot dead four traders and wounded two others in their residence in Port-Harcourt Rivers state. The victims identity could not be ascertained, they were shot when the assailants stormed the place and open fire on them, killing four. I feel worried over these act of life termination. The incident occurred in Orazi area of Obio-Akpor local Government Area. The killing of the said persons was confirmed to journalists by Police spokesman, Nnadi Omoni.
A similar development also occured as locals fled their homes following the killings of the chairman of a local security team in the area, Wobo Wagbara, by suspected cultists.
Investigation revealed that Wagbara was ambushed at Okemini junction in Nkpor and murdered by some youths at night recently. Community sources disclosed that the victim was driving home from a football watch before he was shot inside his car. However, the murder has created fear in the locals, forcing residents to desert the community in fear of further attacks, investigation revealed.
It was confirmed that, a cult group invaded the area and killed the victim, The PPRO disclosed that a full scale investigation is ongoing. The question is when will the killing of innocent citizens end in this growing world? I strongly appealed to these hoodlums to stop the killings now.
