ABUJA: Not fewer than 18 persons were trapped beneath rubble of a four-storey building which collapsed at about 1.30pm in Jabi area of Abuja, FCT.
Journalists present at the scene said, the building was under construction when it suddenly collapsed with over 25 workers inside on duty.
Six persons were rescued, while the body of one of the workers on site was recovered and evacuated.
It was however gathered that the heavy rain hampered the rescue operations.
