And we are back! I hope you are enjoying NYC and the fashion week!
I’m happy to show you my wonderful city!
Lincoln Center is one of the NYC uptown gems. It offers opera, ballet or jazz, any night of the week.
Radio City Hall is an entertainment venue which books many popular music stars. And nearby is NYC famous Rockefeller Center.
Come earlier to Times Square and get half price tickets to your favorite Broadway shows–this is the secret only locals know.
For jazz fans, we have legendary clubs like Village Vanguard, Iridium, Birdland, Jazz Gallery, Jazz Standard and, not to be missed, The Blue Note. The world name jazz stars perform regularly at NYC jazz clubs. After the shows, the fans have an opportunity to speak with their idols.
When people ask me about the best restaurants in NYC, I don’t even know where to start. Let me just mention a few famous places: The Old Homestead Steakhouse, The Russian Tea Room (remember “Tootsei”?), Petrossian, Sardi’s, Delmonico’s and a few hundred more incredible restaurants. Share with me your favorite spots!
When you are wandering around the city, please pay attention to everything!
NYC is the center of many architectural styles: modern, gothic revival architecture, Italianate and postmodern.
One of the newest extraordinary styles is the glass-and-steel structure designed by Spanish architect Calatrava–the NYC shopping center, The Oculus, located downtown.
Another breathtaking building nearby is One World Trade Center. This is the main building of the rebuilt World trade Center complex–the sixth-tallest building in the world.
When you are on your way back Uptown and passing the modern Midtown, The Empire State Building is a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper you will need time to observe.
For big sports and music fans, The Madison Square Garden is another unforgettable venue in Midtown.
The Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) is located on 53rd street between the legendary shopping street–Fifth avenue–and Sixth avenue.
Museum Mile on the Upper East Side, a mile long stretch of Fifth Avenue, where major museums such as Metropolitan Museum, Neue Gallery, Guggenheim Museum are located. You can admire Central Park view from the museum’s terrace.
I can talk about NYC for many hours and will never get tired. It has best night life, best restaurants, best stores, best of everything. But now, I want you to find your most favorite spots in NYC and share with me. Enjoy New York City! Enjoy the fashion week!
