A former mayor of the city of Cape Town, Patricia de Lille , has finally announced the name of her new political party.
De Lille, after resigning, that she would be resigning on Oct. 31, 2018. Her resignation followed an agreement that she had made the DA (Democratic Alliance) against De Lille. This resignation also followed 18 months of acrimony between Lille and the Democratic Alliance party as well as many other things.
It would definitely not be the case for the Cape Town Mayor, De Lille had announced that it would be a hurdle in her career. Thus, leaving the Democratic Alliance party, her name has been publicly cleared.
Residents of Cape Town were both shocked and frightened
Furthermore, on Sunday, De Lille announced the name of its new political party – ” GOOD . ” She made it clear that the name was as simple as the party has been formed to disrupt politics. A statement on Facebook was made by De Lille, which they could be involved in reconciliation, as well as optimism. The party will be contesting the 2019 elections nationally, in all nine provinces. Residents look forward to seeing the outcome of this political party.
